The Head of the department is Kostyrnoy Alexandr Vasilyevich, M. D., Professor. Department Chief since 2011. Before this time the Head of the Department of General Surgery.

 

After graduation from the Crimea Medical University in 1984 the Head of Kerch Territorial Medical Association No. 1. Since 2001 Professor Kostyrnoy works at the University. In 2007 he defended his post-doctoral thesis titled “Prevention and Treatment of Purulonecrotic Complications of Destructive Pancreatitis”.
