Head by Karimov Iskander Zagitovich, born 1965. In 1988 graduated with distinction from the Turkmen Order of Friendship  State Medical Institute on the specialty “Medical Care”.  In 1993 defended his Ph. D. thesis during the session of the specialized board of SRI Pediatrics RAMS, which he confirmed in Kiev in 2002. From 1997 he had been working as an assistant at the Department of Infectious Diseases of SI “Crimea State Medical University named after S. I. Georgievsky”, from 2004 he has been Assistant Professor, in 2008 he became the head of the department.

Doctoral thesis titled “Clinical Pathogenic Role of Positive Proteins, Destruction of Cells and Metabolic Intoxication of Organism in Different Acute Infectious Diseases” on the specialty “Infectious Diseases” Karimov I. Z. defended in 2007 during the session of the specialized board at the Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases named after L. V. Gromashevsky of  AMS of Ukraine;  2011 he has been awarded academic rank of Professor. 

Karimov I. Z. has 75 publications, among which 66 are scientific (36 of them are published in the specialized editions)and 6 are academic; 3 patents.
